Very funny, very clever, and very entertaining. Axis of Awesome and their Four Chord Song, from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

And I love so many of those songs, too!

I'm ashamed to say that before tonight I didn't have a clue who they are, even though they've appeared on Good News Week which I loved. I've just spent the last little while trawling through their youtube channel. Fun!

It's a great observation on pop and now I'm thinking of Status Quo and how they made an entire career out of three chords. *g*

Three chords, tight trou and long, long hair. *sigh* I loved that band, all through the 70s.

It's amazing how they made those songs seamlessly fit together. Four chords indeed!

Thanks for that.

You're welcome. Always happy to spread the good stuff.

Brilliant, mate! I've never really heard of them myself but love this clip. Very clever. The guy in the middle reminds me of a young Jack Black *g*!

Who mentioned Status Quo? Absolutely love that band - one of the greats of the late 60's/early 70's bands! Had a cassette of theirs which lived in the car stereo for yonks - always played on full blast too. ;)

I hadn't heard of this band myself before, only that falcadore put this up on his fb and I just had to steal it and spread the love.
