I don't get paid enough for that.
Both yesterday and this morning I've woken up after dreaming that I was at work - having my work checked by our compliance team, in this morning's, and assessing multiple applications from the one client in yesterday's. As if the working week isn't long enough already, I have to go and extend it in my sleep.

Bus driver tonight was on a Mission from God and I wouldn't have been surprised to find a whole squad of police cars on our tail. Ducking and diving through the traffic, cutting people off, tailgating, and blowing the horn at anyone he considered slower / obstructive; I was glad to get off the bus at the end of the trip. Most of the drivers are courteous and safe but this guy was a bit of a maniac.

It must be the time of year for it - I've started dreaming about work too (this month is a different job that's intense enough that it takes up even more time and thought than Job 1 does). It's not fair - we should have nice interesting good dreams when we're working hard, not just more of the daily same!

And eep for crazy bus drivers, though at least it sounds like a bit of excitement to take your mind off the other!

It's NOT fair, is it! By the time I get to work I feel like I've already put a full days' worth in .

Oh no, the dreams can't be good. Talk about taking work back home with you...

I have been on a few crazy buses, but mostly buses that travel between different towns and villages and race around rural lanes in a terrifying manner. (Oh, of course, you have been to Aber, haven't you? The bus that goes from there, down through west Wales, and then over to our area has lots of crazy slopes and cliffs to slam around!) If yours was doing that actually in town-like areas, eep!

I can imagine what that bus ride would be like, in those narrow lanes and around cliffs - not for the meek! At least mine was on a nice straight six-lane major road.

Yeah, but on nice straight roads, you can get up to high speed! Yes, it feels fast on ours, but it can't really be as fast as that!

True enough!

Well, that's not fair, not unless they're going to pay you for that time.

Now there's a nice thought! Of course I don't know how I'd prove I was working in my sleep *g*.
