Hairy creatures
Getting my hair cut is one of those chores that I put off for as long as possible - I hate having to decide on a style, and I'm never happy when I walk out of the hairdressers'. Until yesterday, that is. For the first time in forever I've actually walked out thinking "Hmmm, I could live with this!" It was nice to get some positive comments about it at work today, too. And it's so much cooler - I had a good eight inches chopped off so now it just sits on my shoulders, and it was thinned out as well. Perfect for summer.

Little dog has gone home now and I must admit I was missing her tonight when I got home from work - no little dog to take for a walk! She was mainly well-behaved (we won't talk about the hole she chewed in the downstairs bathroom door) and got along with the cats okay for the most part. She learned very quickly that she was not to touch the cats' food, and here she is, being very wary of Harry who had her totally bluffed. He's a big gentle giant but she wasn't taking any chances!

And one more, just because.

Wow - you must feel like a whole new person! We all need that from time to time. (It's nice to know someone is enjoying summer while I pull on my woolies.)

I do feel a lot different especially when I brush it, and I run out of hair. So much less shampoo, too.

A good haircut is always something to be celebrated! :)

And aaaw, look at how fluffy and pretty that cat is! :)

I want to abduct the hairdresser and keep her tied up until next time *g*.

He IS pretty, isn't he. Well I think so, though I might be biased (and for the record, while I call him Harry, his registered name is Fidelis Sherlock. How could I resist him? *g*)

Um, speaking as a hairdresser, please don't, we like to live, too! ;D

And Fidelis Sherlock, omg, that's a wonderful name! I briefly considered naming my cat Mycroft, but then I couldn't really imagine saying it on a daily basis in that context, the whole 'don't drink the toilet water, Mycroft!' type of thing, it seems too undignified! *laughs*

Oh I hear you.. I couldn't imagine calling this big goofball "Sherlock" which is why his home name is Harry.

I dunno, I think the pup was smart to be cautious. :D

The new hair-do sounds wonderful and it's always great when you manage to find a style that really works for you.

Pup was VERY cautious. Harry kept trying to entice her into a game but she wouldn't play. She lives with a cat, but he's more of a swipe-you-on-the-nose type than a run-madly-up-and-down-the-hallway type, which is what Harry was trying to do.

SOOO pleased with my hair. The style's not that different from what I've had in the past, but I think now I've grown into it.

Aren't they just! I passed the compliment on; Harry just yawned. Hey, he's a cat, what did you expect? *g*
