Could you say it again in English, please.
Reading through a customer's employment contract today, and came across this sentence:

"Understanding of industry needs will be ground-truthed through visits to selected producers and processors".

Ground-truthed. Who comes up with this?

I've just installed a little app called Prisma on my phone, which has a number of interesting filters for photos. It's really simple to use - pick a photo, pick a filter and away you go. I was rather taken with this one of Harry:

 photo Filter 1 600 x 600_zpsfs2qdqid.jpg

I need to work out how to remove the watermark.

Ground-truthed
Presumably the same people who use expectably as a real word... *sighs* Although actually now that I've said that, it sounds rather like army-speak for shoot-everything-that-moves-so-we-can-take-a-look-and-say-there's-nothing-left-alive-there...

Clever app!

It's ridiculous, the way people attempt to re-invent the language. Why couldn't they just say that in order to understand industry needs, they'll need to visit the farms? Sheesh.

I guess 'ground truth' is like 'ground coffee'. You start out with the whole truth and chew it up so even sifting can't come up with the original.

I did a bit of googling, and the watermark can be removed by changing the settings.

1. Launch Prisma Android App and from the main photo-taking screen, hit the Settings button (cog icon).
2. Uncheck the Add watermark setting.
3. Press the back key again to return to previous screen.

Thank you so much, you've saved me a search!
