You were a legend in your own lifetime.
I just can't believe this.
Don't want to believe it, anyway.
I first saw Brockie at Bathurst in 1970, pitting his GTR Torana against the might of Moffat's Hoey. It wasn't until 1972 that he broke through for his first win in the mountain classic, but he went on to win the event an unsurpassed eight further times before his retirement from racing in 1997.
The sport was so much richer for his contribution, both as a driver, and team owner.
RIP mate.
