Aunty carpeted over funiture porn doco
THE ABC has been has received a slap on the wrist after a historical documentary ran suggestive footage of furniture.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority found The Lost Secret Of Catherine the Great, aired on January 30, 2006, at 9.30pm, "failed to comply with the M classification requirements for themes and sex".
"The program was characterised by frequent and occasionally repetitive depictions of implied sex and nudity in furniture and art works," The authority said.
The ACMA acted after a viewer complained the documentary was "simply pornography".
