Squash Racket

I don't normally pay that close attention to the price of groceries; I buy what I need when I need it. Of course if something I buy regularly is on special I might buy a couple rather than one, but on the whole I don't even check the prices of most things before popping them in the trolley.
So imagine my shock today to look up at the checkout scanner in time to see the price appear for the button squash I purchased; four button squash cost me $4.61 - they were $16.95kg! Those things are more valuable than gold.

Comment made on, and by, Rove tonight:
"Up until this week, I thought "Wikipedia" referred to having sex with a cricket stump"
Yeah, I'm adolescent-minded enough to find that funny.
