Notes from a lazy Saturday

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, $17 in Coles today. I don't think I've ever seen a new release dvd on sale for such a cheap price. I wonder if it's because it's only half of the story? But then again Lord of the Rings was spread over three movies, none of which was quite that cheap.

My favourite casual shoes have been consigned to the bin after developing a hole. I loved those shoes - ballet flats in a leopard skin print. Admittedly they were three years old, and not all that expensive in the first place, but still - favourite shoes *sob*

V8s in Hamilton, in the rain. Awesome. Craig Lowndes finished second, more awesomeness. Now looking forward to tomorrow's final race - not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
And why did it take me a moment to 'click' when they played the sound of a sheep at the end of the telecast? *g*

ABC news tonight mentioned the LJ denial of service attacks, in a news story about the clampdown on Russian press. By the sounds of things, it could continue for some time yet.
