I love numbers. I love thinking about them, and working with them; seeing how they go together, how they multiply, and what sorts of things you can do with them. So why have I been so bored, bored, bored with my job this week? It's been the same-old, same-old thing every day and I'm so frustrated with it. On Wednesday I had an interesting little loan involving two individuals, a company and a trust, which meant manual calculations rather than system-derived, and I was looking forward to getting stuck into it - until I started. Within half an hour I was over it; saved and closed my work, and went for a walk. And that's been the pattern of the week. Really couldn't rustle up any enthusiasm for the job at all. I think I need a new challenge of some sort.
