To the Weekendmobile, Robin!

Yeah it's Friday night in my corner of the universe. "Thank god" I hear you cry - or was that me sobbing in the corner? It's been an interesting week at any rate.

Bodie cat was supposed to be desexed yesterday - the second attempt, as the first attempt in January went awry when the vet couldn't find Bodie's testicles (he's a cryptorchid). This time he was slated for a little girly op but had a very bad reaction to the anaesthetic so he's home again, saddlebags intact. We'll try again in another months' time, with a different anaesthetic.

Work has got busy again. I'd forgotten what it was like to work back and skip lunches but I'm not complaining. I need the business! Won't make target this quarter for the first time in I-don't-know-how-long, but with the stuff that's coming in at the moment I should have a good shot at the next quarter, even though I'll be overseas for the last month of it.
The pile on my desk is huge, though. It's reached the point that I've lost track of exactly what's in it - could be alligators, or a pygmy tribe living at the bottom of it, I wouldn't know.

My new RACQ membership card arrived yesterday, and it's a Gold card. I'm kinda pleased that I qualify for a Gold card, but at the same time it's a reminder of how old I'm getting. My sister keeps asking me if I've got a Seniors card yet. Cheeky vixen. And she's older than I am.

Stumbled across this tonight on realestate.com.au . What were they thinking when they decided that mock Tudor would enhance Federation cottage? Oh my eyes.

Anyway. The weekend is here, the chardy is chilled, I'm contemplating making something to eat but right now I just could not be arsed.
