Leaving Sydney

Saturday dawned overcast but by the time we were ready to cast off the sun was breaking through in patches. After finding our cabins and stowing our hand luggage, we trekked up to the top deck for the Sailaway party. Cocktail time!

Pulling away from the wharf with the harbour bridge in the background. We actually sailed underneath it, getting an ovation from the bridge climbers at the top.

Excellent view of the Opera House, although photo opportunities were limited by the crush of people at the railing:

My travelling companions - firstly my sister and her husband:

Dee & Dave

and my nephews, Nick (26) and Michael (17)

Our cabin: (wine? what wine? *g*)
