Good grief, Charlie Brown
Cartoons have certainly changed since I was a kid.

NSFW - Their superpower is making their enemies uncomfortable.

OMG. Cartoon soft porn. There's actually a cartoon series similar to this on television, I think?) later at night though. Definitely not for kids. And we used to think Looney Tunes with Bugs Bunny were over the heads of kids with their double entendre and adult comments. Sheesh.

Me too. Though not representative of toons, still the state of animation is just not what it used to be. Some people are enamored of the Japanese animé but I think that's awful.Nothing with any sort of sophisticaion out there anymore.

It seems though that moring cartoons on the weekend for kids are a thing of the past as well. I remember getting up every Saturday morning and watching all kinds of kids cartoons, now nothing. It was a bit of innocence to me, and now children don't have that anymore. Everything is 'educational' and reality-based (nothing wrong with that) but where's the 'fun' for kids too?'

Yep, feeling old. Okay, done rambling."D

I think most of the cartoons these days are on the cable channels like Nickelodeon. Which is a shame, because if you have young children you don't always have the money for cable, so your kids miss out :-(
Mind you they'd be better off playing outside or reading a book anyway!
