Hello my lovelies
How are we all on this sultry Tuesday evening? I'm enjoying the humidity at the moment, having just got back from an evening visit to my sister - her house is SO COLD I was glad to escape back to my own. Her air conditioning was cranked up full bore, and she's sitting there in the cold, with a cardigan on....

On Sunday night we played Broadchurch Bingo - every time we got something that David Tennant mentioned in that hilarious voiceover, we'd take a drink. We very quickly had a tally of five, and then my sister pointed out that the actor who played the judge was a guest on Dr Who once, bonus point to my sister for spotting that one.

Have been doing a crazy amount of overtime over the last couple of weeks but it looks like things are starting to settle back down. And I'm glad; as much as I like the extra pay (I have that wedding in NZ next year to save up for!) I'm also feeling a bit burnt out. Didn't log on to work at all over the weekend as I had visitors staying with me, and the couple of days total break was so very welcome.

There's a lady who catches the same bus home as I do, and she spends her trip scribbling in a notebook, then staring out the window, followed by another burst of mad scribbling. I like to imagine she's writing fanfic. :-)

Glad to hear your work getting settle back! My work is getting busier. I should say it not hectic yet. At least I can leave the office by 8pm. I don't like overtime work except overtime way pay!

It's getting warmer here. We can feel approach of Spring surely :-)

Yes the overtime pay does compensate, doesn't it. At least I can do it from home, too; leave work at my normal 5pm, come home and have dinner and feed my cats, then log into work from home. That way I can work late without worrying about a long bus trip late at night.

We're heading into my favourite time of the year, autumn, with its warm days and cooler nights, just a hint of the cold weather to come.
