And how are we all tonight?
Annual General Meeting of our cat council today and I've come home with a huge to-do list to work through, so here I am doing anything but. For the last few years I've been swearing that I don't want to be on exec any more, and I plan on stepping back, but then I get to the meeting and enjoy the social aspect of it so much that I end up putting my hand up again, "just one more year".

Really looking forward to the new Avengers movie being released this week, and already made plans to see it next Saturday night. I was surprised to find the cinemas are going to be open as it's ANZAC Day and all the shops will be shut.

And here, just to whet your appetite for the film - Gillette teams up with the Avengers to create the ultimate razor. (thanks entropy_house for the link!).

Ah committees, we always say we'll never serve again, but... *g*

Cinemas here are open on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day so I always just assume they'll be open even though I'm not going to them myself.

Cute vid, thanks. :D

Never again never happens, does it? *sigh* Ah well worse things happen at sea. Or so I've been told.

I didn't want to assume about the cinemas, as just about everything else is shut on Anzac Day. AND this is Queensland, where Sunday shopping was only introduced shortly before I moved here in 2004. Brisbane may be a city but it still has the feel of a large country town (except in the large country town that I moved here from, the supermarkets were open 24/7. Here they shut at 9pm Monday to Friday, 6pm on Sundays and 5pm on a Saturday. WOT?)
