That awkward moment...
... when you're in the supermarket and a song you like starts playing on the instore radio, and you start doing a little dance as you push your trolley down the aisle and then someone comes around the corner into the same aisle. I didn't care how awkward it was, today, I just kept dancing and singing along.

When I upgraded my phone back in April, the new one came with a six months' free subscription to Netflix which had only just launched in Australia. It wasn't something I thought I'd use, at first, but I've succumbed to temptation and when the six months is up I'm seriously considering subscribing. Especially while I was on holidays I found myself more and more turning the telly on at night and looking for something to watch.

One show I thoroughly enjoyed was The Thick of It - started watching for Peter Capaldi and later Roger Allam but got totally sucked into the stories. Now I've started House of Cards, both the US and the UK versions, and also the occasional movie - I think I must be the last person in the western world to actually watch Mean Girls!

Hee, and yeay for singing and dancing in supermarkets! *g*

I've been meaning to watch The Thick of It for ages... I've been wondering about Netflix lately - my landlady in Cambs. had a subscription that I used sometimes, but I don't know if I'd use it enough here. What I really want to see is Outlander, and I hate that it's been locked up by Amazon. All very well that you can get it via Amazon Prime, but apparently my telly doesn't support Amazon Prime, so - gargh! So I wait again for the dvds... Doesn't seem right when the series was filmed over here...

I didn't know that there had been a series made of Outlander. Bummer about Amazon Prime having it. I'm only just learning about all these options like Amazon Prime, and locally Stan and Presto. Isn't it wonderful to have choice, though!
Do watch The Thick of It if you are interested in political dirty tricks, or even just for the cast. I know I'll watch it again just to pick up on bits I missed the first time around.
