This Month's WTF

Brought to you by the makers of those little diamond-shaped yellow and black signs that hang in car rear windows. In particular, the one that says "Baby On Board." What is it about that, anyway? Do these people think that displaying such a sign offers them protection from a random event, in much the same way that a clove of garlic deters vampires? Or do they imagine that other drivers, seeing the sign, will go and have their accident elsewhere?
Or maybe these people enjoy flaunting their fertility, or the sign is some sort of tribal totem.
